Full Denture
A full denture is intended for patients missing all of their teeth on the upper or lower jaw. It consists of a full arch of prosthetic teeth and a gum-colored acrylic base. A traditional full denture is removable and is fixed to your gums through suction and mild dental adhesive.
Partial Denture
If you have some remaining healthy teeth, you may qualify for a partial denture. Rather than relying on suction to your gums, a partial denture uses a metal framework that clasps around your natural teeth. The clasps reduce mobility and help keep your prosthetic securely in place.
Implant-Supported
Implant-supported dentures are the most stable and natural-feeling option. The prosthetic teeth are anchored by titanium posts surgically placed in the upper and lower jaws. The implants act as artificial tooth roots, stimulating your oral tissues and keeping your gums and jawbone strong and healthy.
Did You Know?
You can restore your smile in a fraction of the time at NÜVA Smile. Our practice offers next-day delivery for dentures at several of our locations and incredible same-day delivery of new teeth when you visit our convenient offices.
Choosing Your Denture
We believe that careful planning is the key to a successful, long-lasting denture. That is why our dentists use the latest technology to design and execute your treatment. We begin with a thorough examination of your oral structures with advanced 3D X-rays and digital imaging software. Once we accurately assess the condition of your mouth, we can determine which tooth replacement options are right for you.
Implant-Supported Denture Candidates
To Be in Good Oral Health
Other than tooth loss, you should have good oral health and strong gums. Gum disease can increase your chances of infection from implant surgery. Your dentist will check for signs of periodontal disease and provide treatment, if necessary, before moving on to your implants.
To Have Sufficient Bone Density
A healthy jawbone provides essential support for dental implants. If you have sustained jawbone recession from long-term tooth loss, you may require preliminary bone grafting. But in many cases, we can provide an alternative implant method known as All-on-4®, allowing you to skip preparatory treatments.
To Have No Increased Risks
Certain medical conditions like autoimmune disorders and uncontrolled diabetes can increase your risk for dental implant complications. Please go over your medical history in detail with your dentist so we can best ensure your safety during treatment.

What Do Dentures Cost?
The cost of dentures varies widely based on the type of prosthetic and other customized aspects of your treatment. If you are looking for the most affordable option, we usually recommend traditional dentures. Removable full and partial dentures range from $700 to $3,000 on average, depending on the complexity of the restoration and the type of materials used. Implant-supported dentures are generally more expensive once you factor in the cost of implants, surgery, and prep work.
